Luxury Zanzibar Beach Tour Details

Your Driver-Guide will report to your hotel to begin your safari with an 8 AM departure. You’ll embark on a picturesque drive descending into the Great Rift Valley and continuing on to the Masai Mara, Kenya’s renowned game reserve, with a total drive time of approximately 5.5 hours.

Along the way, you’ll make a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take in the stunning views of the world’s largest valley, which is said to be visible from outer space. Upon arrival at your camp in the Masai Mara, you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch.

Your afternoon game drive will commence at 3:30 PM, giving you the opportunity to spot the amazing wildlife in the reserve, including the Big Cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as rhinos, elephants, and wildebeests. Our Driver-Guide will do his best to show you not only the “Big Five” but also the “Big Nine” animals.

You will return to your tented camp by 6:30 PM. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Basecamp, with the option of Sarova Mara Camp in case of unavailability.

You will experience two game drives today: one in the morning from 6:15 AM to 9:00 AM, before breakfast, and another in the late afternoon from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best times to spot animals when they are most active.

Since your safari is private, the timing for your game drives is flexible. This is convenient if you are traveling with children or on a honeymoon and prefer to sleep in on some days. Additionally, you have the option of a full-day game drive, which includes a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost.

You will return in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodations at Basecamp, with the option of Sarova Mara Camp in case there is no availability at Basecamp.

You will experience two game drives today: one in the morning from 6:15 AM to 9:00 AM, before breakfast, and another in the late afternoon from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, after lunch. In the evening, return for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the camp. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Basecamp, with the option to stay at Sarova Mara Camp if Basecamp is unavailable.

After early breakfast and check-out, proceed for morning game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park. Our Kenyan Driver~tour guide will then transfer you to the Isebania border and assist with crossing border formalities with the authorities there. You will then cross the border by foot where you will find your Tanzanian driver~tour guide waiting for an onward transfer to your overnight camp in Serengeti National Park. It will be a long day of driving but the game drives in and out of the parks can be surprisingly incredible.

Today you will be taken on two gamedrives, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your gamedrive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Serengeti’s great wildlife. Return to the Camp for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool. After the sumptuous lunch, take a mid afternoon safari game drive to further explore the park. Return to the lodge by evening [ typically 6pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner.

At dawn, you will begin your final game drive in the Serengeti, followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check-out is at 10 a.m., and then you will take a road transfer back to Arusha. You can expect to arrive in Arusha by early afternoon, typically around 3 p.m. You will be dropped off at your hotel or have the option of a complimentary transfer to the airport for your flight home.
